Islamophobic Remarks :
The senior member of the Rashtriya Swayam Sewak Sangh’s National Executive is Indresh Kumar. Additionally, Indresh Kumar serves as the leader and patron of the Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM), an RSS organisation.
Kumar was a key player in the 2008 Amarnath protests in Jammu and Kashmir and has coordinated Sangh Parivar activities in the area for many years.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) designated Kumar as an accused in the 2007 Ajmer Blast case, which resulted in the deaths of three Muslims and the injuries of twelve others. During the interrogation, Malegaon bombings chief culprit Colonel Shrikant Purohit brought up his name first.
According to the CBI, he participated in a meeting to plot the Ajmer blast that was held in Jaipur with six other people.
Indresh, according to a charge sheet, played the role of a mentor, a guiding spirit, encouraging the hotheads to join different religious organizations in order to carry out their “mission” covertly. In order to “eliminate scope for suspicion,” they had used fictitious names to attend the guesthouse rendezvous in Jaipur. Tasks were allocated during this meeting. While Sunil Joshi, who was subsequently killed, was held accountable for the explosion, Lokesh Sharma and Ramji were tasked with gathering guns and explosives and conducting reconnaissance. Devendra Gupta was tasked with obtaining mobile cards under false pretenses, and Joshi and Dange were requested to raise money.
“According to the evidence we have, the purpose of the meeting was to organize the Ajmer bombings. We still need to look at the situation more thoroughly. Five more people attended the meeting, and we won’t be able to reach a definitive judgment unless we can verify everything, a CBI source told Rediff.
The National Investigation Agency looked into Kumar’s involvement in a number of other incidents, such as the 2007 Mecca Masjid bomb, the 2007 Samjhauta Express blast, and the twin Malegaon explosions in 2006 and 2008, but they were unable to locate any proof to formally prosecute him as an accused. Numerous terror incidents claimed the lives of hundreds of Muslims.
