Islamophobic Remarks :
Far-right Hindu activist Kajal Singhala, also known as Kajal Hindutani, is from Gujarat. She frequently attends public gatherings of hate and genocide advocates in various regions of the nation and delivers venomous anti-Islamic statements intended to incite hostility between groups of people.
Through her public talks, she openly calls for violence against Muslims and aggressively enjoins Hindus to boycott Muslims socially and economically.
“Iss Suleimani kide ke liye ek ram baan ilaaj bhi hai [for this (Islamic) parasite, there is also a (Hindu) treatment]”. And that is the economic boycott of the Muslims,” Kajal said at the ‘Hindu Janakrosh Morcha’ rally in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
“Non-violence is a delusion,” she asserts. It is a ruse set by our adversaries. She openly urges Hindus to use violence against Muslims since they no longer need to be afraid because this is the “period of Hindus.”
She demanded the destruction of some Islamic buildings in October 2021, including the mosques and Dargahs (shrines) in Morbi, Gujarat. I’ll get the bulldozer, and I’ll pay for it, she declared. I’ll do it if others are standing with me. When should we do this, please?
In addition to promoting the myths of “love jihad” and “land jihad,” she aspires to turn India into a “Hindu Rashtra” (Nation).
Such nasty statements that openly denigrate and threaten Muslims can be seen on her YouTube account. In one of her lectures, she uses the phrase “Hindu hun to Hindutva ki hi baat karungi na” to support the Hindu nationalist doctrine of Hindutva. [Because I am a Hindu, I will inevitably discuss Hindutva.]
Her statement, “log kahte hain hain ki har Musalman aesa nahi hota lekin hum ek kalam kelie ninniyanwe Afzal ko kaese chor de, agar hum Inka jawab Israel ki tarah denge to hi hum ye jang jeetenge,” suggests a “Israel-like solution” for Muslims in India. Even though some claim that not all Muslims support jihad, how can we spare 89 Afzal Gurus for one Abdul Kalam? Treating them like Israel does with them (Palestinians) is the only strategy that will work against them. ” She continued by saying that Muslims are traitors in all guises, whether they be university students like Umar Khalid or the vice president of India, Hamid Ansari.
Kajal typically relies on made-up incidents and pseudohistory to support her hate speech and propaganda against Muslims. She propagates the big replacement conspiracy theory that Muslims are on a determined mission to take over India by 2047 and change it into an Islamic republic, instilling panic among Hindus with her shrill declarations that “Hindus are in danger.”
She once claimed that Muslim vegetable vendors, who she referred to as ‘jihadis” inject chemicals into fruits and vegetables to render Hindus incapable of bearing children.
She said “ My Hindu sisters, to save 10 rupees, buy vegetables and fruit from Jihadis but do you know what they do? They inject them with medicines to make men impotent. When they see some newlywed couple entering their restaurant, they mix this medicine in their food. In your family, there must be one couple who cannot have children for 4-5 years despite trying. This has happened only in the last 5 years…they are conspiring to destroy your generation.”
The “panacea” of a “economic boycott” of Muslims was recommended by Kajal in March 2023 in Bombay at a gathering hosted by a confederation of Hindu far-right organizations known as Sakal Hindu Samaj. She said: “There are three main dimensions of Islamic invasion. The problems with conversion come first, then with land jihad, and finally with love jihad.
In addition, she claimed that “there is a Ram-led (God designed) remedy for these three, a solution for which you will not be stopped by political leaders, the Supreme Court, or even the media, and that answer is their (Muslims’) economic boycott.”
Members of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal, as well as representatives of the Bharatiya Janata Party, including MLA Nitesh Rane, joined the gathering. According to a report by Scroll. com, it was flagged off by Independent Legislator Geeta Jain from Mira Bhayandar.
Her hateful actions against Muslims and other minorities are glossed over in her social media accounts.
