Afshine Emrani is a cardiologist who practices in Tarzana, California, and the surrounding Los Angeles region. Dr. Emrani studied at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he was admitted into the Biological Honors Society and earned a Bachelor of Science degree. He finished his medical education at the University of California, San Diego, where he also attended. He took part in two sub-internships during that time, one in intensive care and one in cardiology. He completed a second sub-internship in infectious disease while working at Cedar Sinai Medical Center.During his years of employment at the Veteran’s Affairs Administration, he also finished an internship. Dr. Emrani received a fellowship in cardiology while employed at the University of Southern California’s Kaiser Permanente campus.
