Charudutt Pingale

Islamophobic Remarks :

The senior leader of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS), the sister group of Sanatan Sanstha, a militant Hindu organization, is Charudutt Pingale. He serves as the organization’s national guide at the moment. Narendra Dabholkar, a campaigner against superstition, is said to have been killed in 2013 by HJS members.

He is in charge of HJS’s mission to convert India into a Hindu country in which minorities such as Christians, Muslims, and others have no place.

He presented a motion at the All India Hindu Convention in June 2017 calling for the proclamation of India as a “Hindu Rashtra.”

Numerous patriotic and pro-Hindu organizations are working to construct Hindu Rashtra both domestically and internationally. One of the numerous motions adopted at the convention was declaring India and Nepal to be Hindu Rashtras, he informed reporters.

He has been making a strong case to have the term “secular” removed from the Indian Constitution.

“There is no meaning to the word secular. This nation was divided according to religion. Muslims got Pakistan and Hindus got Hindustan, and the word ‘secular’ was not there in the Constitution written at that time,” he said.

Pingale targets Christians and Muslims by spreading conspiracy theories about religious conversions and love jihad.
