Darren Klugman is an associate professor at Johns Hopkins Medicine and a pediatric cardiologist. Amidst the indiscriminate killing of civilians by Israel’s IDF forces during their “Swords of Iron” operation, Darren used his X account to glorify/promote murder, brand members of specific ethnicities “depraved animals,” and advocate for extermination.
Spreading xenophobia and calling for genocide
Darren tweeted a number of times in support of genocide and to feed into the anti-Palestinian sentiment in Gaza.
Darren responded to a post on X on October 8, 2023, which called for a large-scale massacre of Palestinians, or a resuscitation of the Nakba. He said, “Israeli policy-makers are calling quite literally for a large-scale slaughter.” They want the Nakba Doctrine to be reinstated, with “G-d willing” and “spread out massacres across a year to displace Palestinians.”
He refers to Palestinians as “depraved animals” in a different post, saying that they are “showing the world exactly who they are & what they want- dead Jews & no more Israel.” Just feral creatures. Talk about peace, moderation, or Israeli aggression instead. End Iran’s nuclear program and recapture Gaza, which has been lost since 2005. Now is the moment.
Darren gave a commanding response in his tweet on October 9 to an appeal for “urgent humanitarian assistance to Palestinian civilians trapped & helpless in the Gaza Strip” made by UN official Antonio Guterres.
He also refers to Palestinians as “morally depraved animals” in a different post: “These are the Palestinians.” Animals with a bloodlust and a perverted morality, their only desire is to destroy Israel and all Jews. It’s time to retake every square inch of Israel for Jews. Quit talking me about peace partners.”
Darren names Palestinians “rapists” and repeats unsupported statements in a response to another post: “Says the woman of a people that rape and murder civilians.” At the very least, you’re a reliable piece of crap.
He also responded to a post that called for the ethnic extermination of all Palestinians from their homes, claiming that Israel had given Egypt a lot of land in Sinai that will be used for Palestinian sand. Give everyone 48 hours to arrive.
