A LinkedIn comment claiming that over 12,000 Palestinian children had died has been met with the statement “total bullshit” from Dr. Chandross.
In another post, he lamented the passing of a Palestinian man who was in route to buy bread for his family, asking “Does asparagus have a soul?”
Bio :
Dr. David Chandross is a Scholar in Residence in the fields of mixed reality and gamification. David works as a researcher and designer in the fields of professional education and training, gaming worlds, and mixed reality gamification. He has master’s degrees in cognitive neuroscience and medical education in addition to a PhD in curriculum design for higher education. Prior to concentrating on the developing subject of virtual gaming worlds, he held positions as academic dean, program coordinator, and faculty in the field of medical education across Canada.Among his current clients are Baycrest Health Sciences, the World Health Organization, the United Nations World Food Programme (2020 Nobel laureates), and the Insurance Institute of Canada. He is a senior scholar in the Inclusive Media and Design Center at the Ted Rogers School of Management, where he specializes in aging-friendly technology. His areas of interest in study include the application of complexity theory to education, creating learning experiences that improve cognitive function in older persons, and using gamification to treat addiction and substance misuse disorders.
