Deepak Singh

Islamophobic Remarks :

The radical “Hindu Force” was founded by Deepak Singh, also known as Deepak Singh Hindu, a leader of the Hindutva movement.

He was there on January 28, 2021, when the farmers’ peaceful and continuous demonstration at the Singhu border descended into bloodshed.

“The problem we have is that we stand by and let these traitors cause trouble like cowards. I’ll be there in thirty minutes. Nationalists now also need to band together. With so many bombs at its disposal, Delhi has the potential to destabilize the atmosphere at any time, just as they did during the riots in February of last year. Singh remarked in a car-shot video, “Today, if we do not put out this spark of treason, it will burn our city.”

Singh is also thought to be linked to Ragini Tiwari, the leader of the Hindutva movement, whose divisive remarks were a major factor in the anti-Muslim riot that occurred in Delhi. He incited people to commit acts of violence against Muslims from all over Delhi to Maujpur.

“Although I am waging this war by myself, I need your help today in this religious struggle. Delhi is being transformed into Shaheen Bagh in its entirety. If Deepak Singh Hindu travels to Maujpur Chowk by himself, it will be a moment for you to die of shame, so please come there at 2:30 PM. I’m pleading with you to arrive at Maujpur Chowk in big numbers.Along with my supporters, I shall arrive there. But with your help, my strength will increase tenfold,” he declared in a Facebook video.

Singh had already threatened to use violence against peaceful protestors on January 23, 2020, a month before there was even a roadblock at the Jafrabad metro station—a roadblock that Delhi Police believes started the rioting.

“I am someone who has yelled in front of thousands of people in Shaheen Bagh, JNU, and Jamia on my own.You swine, you are not patriots. You are nothing more than traitors, and I am writing this to assure you that this is exactly what will happen: traitors will be beaten with shoes.

He was spotted during a demonstration against “land jihad,” the right-wing narrative that Muslims are trespassing on land without permission or supporting evidence.

He was also among the most well-known panelists at the April 1, 2021, Press Club conference hosted by Hindu militant priest Yati Narsinghanand, during which the latter insulted Islam and its prophet.

As part of what he referred to as the “Bharat Jodo (Unite India) movement,” Singh gave a speech at a rally in New Delhi in August 2021 that BJP leader Ashwin Upadhyay had organized for roughly 2,000 people. Its purported goal was to persuade the government to create a common civil code in order to abolish “colonial-era laws.”

Singh delivered divisive and communal speeches. Along with many others, he held up signs encouraging violence against Muslims.

One leader declared, “Muslims will chant Ram-Ram when they are slaughtered.” “Jab mulle kaate jayenge, Ram-Ram chillayenge.”

Another leader declared, “We will say goodbye to Muslims by killing them.”

Singh was detained by the Delhi Police, and his bail was later rejected by a local court.
