Islamophobic Remarks :
The proprietor of Spine Surgical Associates and a neurosurgeon in Pittsburgh is Dr. Eugene Bonaroti. He is in practice at UPMC, Advanced Surgical Hospital, Aestique Ambulatory Surgical Center, Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Radiance Surgical Center, and Gamma Surgery Center, among other hospitals and clinics in the region.
He has made a number of remarks about Muslims and Palestinians in public, including:
“The entire ‘Palestinian’ society is without any redeeming value”
“Palestinians ( Hamas – same thing) is a murdering savage depraved society”
“Palestinian society is irredeemably evil”
“90% of violence on Earth would disappear if Islam disappeared”
“Islam is the cause for 90% of the violence and misery in the world”
“The Muslims will help convert New York City to a shit hole”
“Europe is becoming a Muslim hell hole”

Dr. Bonaroti has lived in Pittsburgh his entire life and has been doing difficult, personalized neurosurgery care for more than 20 years. He finished his residency in neurosurgery at the University of Pittsburgh after earning his degree as a bioengineer from the University of Pennsylvania.
In the Allegheny System, where he founded a Level 2 neurotrauma program and held the position of Chief of Neurosurgery at Forbes Hospital, he has experience providing neurosurgical care. In addition to serving as an LT COL in the US Army Reserve Medical Corp, he continues to provide trauma expertise at regional Level 1 trauma hospitals.
Surgical Spine Associate, the first and only independent neurosurgical practice in this area, was established by Dr. Bonaroti in 2019.
