Islamophobic Remarks :
Ishwar Lal is the Jodhpur district chairman of the Hindu militant organization Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and a full-time employee of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
Lal is renowned for inciting hatred and spreading false information against Muslims. He frequently participates in protests and events and delivers incendiary speeches chock with of misinformation, hatred, and demands for violence.
He frequently exhorts Hindus to carry firearms and refrain from buying “Halal” goods in order to impose a “economic boycott” on the Muslim population.
On December 3, 2022, he made a hate speech at a gathering in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, that was packed with scare tactics, false facts, and war chants.
He allegedly brought up well-known myths about “Love Jihad” and circulated false information that Muslims brought untouchability to India and that, as the population grows, Muslims will eventually oust Hindus from temples.
He exposed his deep-seated dislike of Muslims in his remarks. Hindus have been having problems ever since we started singing Gandhi’s song, “Ishwar Allah Tero Naam, Sabko sanmati de Bhagwan,” he urged. They don’t sing this hymn in their mosques, but we do in our temples. Hindus are not permitted to perform the Hajj in Mecca. Hindus consume cows and offer prayers to the cow. Hindus feed the cow rotis, then they eat the cow with rotis. Did you notice how much shraddha they sliced up?
He implied that Hindus must carry firearms while condemning Muslims.
“Ram had kept his weapons even though he was in exile. Although we don’t have any at home, we perform Shastra-pooja (worship of weapons). Every Hindu household ought to have weapons. People sometimes question, “Give us pistols, what problem will this ‘trishul’ solve? ” I assert that when there is fighting, firearms are useless, but even a stick is helpful. The tailor Kanhiaya, who was beheaded in 2022 in Udaipur purportedly for posting content that was offensive to the Prophet Mohammad, would not have perished if he had been armed.

He called Muslims “terrorists” and claimed they receive funds from abroad to turn India into “an Islamic state” while urging Hindus to maintain their unity.
At a Trishul Diksha gathering in Lohawat, Rajasthan, in January 2023, he made another hate speech in which he blatantly dehumanized Muslims, misrepresented history, and insulted Islamic customs.
