Khushbu Pandey, also known as Hindu Sherni (also known as the Hindu Tigress), is a fiery proponent of extreme Hinduism who is well-known for her insults directed at Muslims. Her films are regularly shared on social media by extreme and Hindu nationalist organisations across the nation.
Pandey herself has declared her propensity for violence and her wish to witness a full-on massacre of Muslims in India. In a video interview with a youtube channel, she states, “There is no need to choose the legal system or the Indian Constitution wherever you find a terrorist—a term the Hindu far-right uses to describe Muslims. Just sprinkle them with kerosene and burn them alive. What use does it serve to keep these termites alive? My religion compels me to kill them for the sake of my country, so I would.
In reaction to a statement made by a Muslim leader about the state of religious freedom in India, Pandey said, “If we Hindus would adopt the Mahabharata style (referring to the bloodbath of the battle of Mahabharata), then you Muslims would vanish from India within eighteen days.”

Her social media pages, particularly her YouTube channel, are filled with speech and images that are derogatory to Muslims. It is understood that such overtly cruel hateful individuals are allowed to proliferate in India because they align with the Bhartiya Janata Party’s (BJP’s) overarching ideology and the Rashtriya Sayam Sevak Sangh (RSS) that serves as its ideological foundation.
