Bio :
Lev Reyzin is the site director of the Institute for Data, Econometrics, Algorithms, and Learning at the University of Illinois at Chicago in addition to being a professor of mathematics, statistics, and computer science. Lev was an NSF CI-Fellow at Yahoo! Research before joining UIC. He was also a Simons Postdoctoral Fellow at Georgia Tech. Lev earned his undergraduate degree from Princeton and his doctorate from Yale under Dana Angluin on an NSF graduate research fellowship.
He is currently an Associate Editor of Ann. Math. Artif. Intell., an Editorial Board Reviewer for J. Mach. Learn, and the Chair of the Steering Committee for the International Conference on Algorithmic Learning Theory. Hold on. He served as the program chair for ISAIM 2020 and ALT 2017 recently. His work has been financed by the NSF and DOD and has won honors at ICML, COLT, and AISTATS.
