Pandit Pradeep Mishra

Islamophobic Remarks :

Hindu preacher and Kathawachak Pandit Pradeep Mishra is from Sehore, Madhya Pradesh. He is connected to Kubreshwar Dham, Madhya Pradesh, one of the most revered and historic Hindu temples in India.

His disciples, who arrive in great numbers from various regions of the country, attend his presentations where he recounts Hindu spiritual tales.

Mishra is proud of his involvement in Hindu Supremacism, commonly known as Hindutva, as well as his work in the religious and spiritual realms. He brags about discussing topics of “national interest” in his broadcasts, but he consistently promotes intolerance and hate under the pretense of spirituality and religious teaching.

He frequently hosts conversations at his events about terrible myths and conspiracies against Muslims, including “Love Jihad” and “dharm parivartan” (religious conversion). He may be heard cautioning Hindu females in one of his programs not to fall victim to Muslim guys, whom he calls to as “other people” (doosre log).

He stated, “doosre body dikha kar tumhe (addressing Hindu girls) phasane ka prayas karenge, achhe se sun lena, ye doosre log, mai kisi ka naam nahi lunga ishara hi kaafi hai, ye doosre log tumhe bahlange ,phuslaenge, akarshan denge, tumhari buddhi ko badlenge..”

[Beware of these other folks, who would display their bodies to impress you! Watch out for these “other people.” I won’t name names because I’ve made it quite apparent that these ‘other individuals’ will try to seduce, entice, and brainwash you.]

Mishra is one of those who wants to make India a Hindu country. He has even pushed for the “Hindu Rashtra” concept to be incorporated into the Indian constitution.

On another occasion, Mishra declared, “India has always been a Hindu Rashtra and shall remain so.”

He advocates for Hindu extremism to the point where he urges Hindus to send at least one member of each family to join militant organizations like the Bajrang Dal or the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).

“One son from each house should be in Sang or Bajrang Dal, he urged, for the protection of Sanatan Dharma (Hinduism) and the protection of the country. The defense of the nation and the Dharma should be led by one son from each household.

Even worse, he finances these radical organizations that are largely to blame for the country’s violence and crimes committed against Muslims and other minorities.

He gave a donation of 7 751,000 rupees to build the RSS office in Sehore, Madhya Pradesh. Given that the RSS also assists Mishra in organizing his activities, their relationship is one of reciprocity.

In Sehore, Madhya Pradesh, his brother was charged with extorting cash from store owners in exchange for setting up businesses there in front of the Kubreshwar Dham Mandir. A significant sum was reportedly being demanded from these store owners in exchange for them opening up shop away from the Dham. The report claims that the shopkeepers claim Pandit Pradeep Mishra’s brother personally pays the rent for granting them permission to open the stores.
