Islamophobic Remarks :
Ram Bhakt On January 30, 2020, Gopal Sharma, a Hindu fanatic, attacked students at Jamia Millia Islamia University during demonstrations against the citizenship bill.
Sharma fired at the student demonstrators with a handgun made in his own nation. He fired one shot, injuring Shadab Farooq, a mass communication student at Jamia.
His Facebook profile had posts like “Yeh lo azaadi (Here, take your freedom),” “Shaheen Bagh, Game Over,” and “I am the lone Hindu here” prior to the shooting. The Juvenile Justice Board placed him in protective custody for 28 days at a detention facility; he was afterwards freed.
He gave a lecture on July 4, 2021, at the divisive mahapanchayat in Pataudi, Haryana, on the topic of religious conversions, so-called love jihad, and the necessity of a population control law.
