Islamophobic Remarks :
Hindu activist Sudhanwa Gondhalekar is a part of the right-leaning Hindu organization Shri Shivpratishthan Hindustan, which was formed by Sambhaji Bhide. Sanatan Sanstha and Shri Shivpratishthan Hindustan are closely related.
On August 10, 2018, the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad detained him from Mumbai’s Nalasopara together with four other Sanatan Sanstha-affiliated Hindu extremists along with a sizable cache of illegal weapons and homemade bombs.
He was knowledgeable about explosives and had taught the other two men how to put them together. Additionally, he had planned attacks on individuals and occasions that he believed went against Hindu dharma.
Additionally, Gondhalekar has strong ties to Sanatan Sanstha. In the group, his grandmother and daughters achieved more than “60% spirituality,” and they even received praise for it. The practices of the Sanatan Sanstha for achieving sainthood include a significant amount of spirituality.
Sanatan Prabhat, a fortnightly journal published by Sanatan Sanstha, was another publication he devoured.
In addition, Gondhalekar is charged with the gruesome killing of activist-journalist Gauri Lankesh. After Lankesh’s murder, he carried out a reconnaissance of the location, oversaw the assassination, and afterwards took the murder weapon outside of Karnataka. According to the police investigation, Sudhanwa allegedly stored the murder weapon in a safehouse the night of the killing.
