Islamophobic Remarks :
A Jain monk by the name of Surya Sagar “Maharaj” nicknamed khoonkhaar Baba (Bloody Monk), he has been shunned by the group of Jain priests known as the “Sakal Digambar Jain Samaj.” His home base is Gujarat’s Vadodara.
Sagar is a hate-mongering militant extremist who frequently posts videos on social media platforms showing off high-tech lethal weapons. He exhorts Hindus to equip themselves in opposition against Muslims. He longs to be a part of the current Hindu militant ecology, which is evident in his constant incitement to hatred and cries for the genocide of Muslims.
He openly uses insults and profanities directed against Muslims in his films. He doesn’t think twice about calling Muslims “terrorists, jihadists, dacoits, and traitors.” Sagar has made explicit threats to assassinate Muslim public officials and professors. He even applauded and hailed the murder of Punjabi rapper Siddhu Moosewala, claiming to be an ultra-nationalist. He appears to be quite enraged with Tablighi Jamatees and Christian missionaries because he regards them as a threat to the harmony of Hindus. He doesn’t get along well with opposition leaders either since he verbally attacks and threatens them for having a minor difference of opinion.
He frequently insults Islam and is an unrepentant Islamophobe. “Islam is a violent religion,” he asserts. Buddhists in Myanmar gave the Rohingyas very good treatment. We’ll take no prisoners when it comes to getting rid of you (Muslims) if God grants us the power. You fools have moved here and are occupying our lands, you bastards. The Indian government is prepared to punish you at this time. Now is not the moment for you (Muslims). We’ve been in this country for a while, and we’ll stay here forever, but you Freeloaders will be driven from this land.
Sagar was arrested by the Vadodara Police in May 2020 for inciting hatred and hostility toward the Muslim community under the guise of “corona Jihad.” Hindus in the area protested the action, and the police were never able to apprehend him in connection with it.
He carries out his vile campaign with total impunity, right in front of the eyes of the law. In one of his offensive YouTube postings, he challenges law enforcement to detain him. He further asserted that because he serves the government and his nation, the government will never stop his “movement.” He was heard urging Hindus in the same video to carry firearms and not to bother about permits since the situation was serious enough to warrant carrying weapons, even without a permit.
He spreads a variety of anti-Muslim conspiracies, such as the “Love Jihad.”
Falsely claiming, “I find that in a thousand rape cases, almost all of them are committed by non-Hindus and mostly by likes of Shahrukh Khan (a Muslim actor),” he makes a large number of exaggerated assertions. He advises that those who engage in so-called “love jihad” should be “burnt alive,” but regrets that Hindus in modern India lack the courage to effectively discipline Muslims.
His obscene videos, which are shared widely and receive millions of views on YouTube, abound. The two primary YouTube channels that frequently post his videos are @hinduvoice7602, which has more than 23k subscribers, and @ArvindKumarOfficial01, which has 116k subscribers. However, a large number of other Hindu hardline channels release his movies to spread hatred.
