Islamophobic Remarks :
One of the nine national vice presidents of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), Vijayalakshmi Deshmane. She has previously worked for the company in a variety of capacities, including as the President of VHP’s Karnataka area in 2017. She was the first woman to serve as VHP’s president.
Deshmane, one of the top oncologists in India, previously held the position of vice president of the Karnataka Cancer Society.
She was chosen to serve as vice president of the Karnataka chapter of the Sri Ram Mandir Nirman Nidhi Samarpan Abhiyan Committee of the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust in December 2022.
