The APCR documented 184 hate crimes in 16 days — 3 murders, 39 assaults, 12 attempted lynchings, 84 hate speeches — with 316+ victims. In Ahmedabad, over 10,000 structures in Muslim neighborhoods were demolished, displacing 8,500+ families branded as 'illegal Bangladeshis.' Kashmiri students were attacked with weapons in hostels and given ultimatums to leave. India launched Operation Sindoor military strikes against Pakistan, triggering a 3-day armed conflict before ceasefire. Over 1,800 Muslims were unlawfully expelled to Bangladesh, and ~40 Rohingya forced onto a naval ship. The UN, HRW, and OHCHR condemned the crackdown as collective punishment.
