Ashlea Simon is the Co-Leader of Britain First, a self-described patriotic and nationalist political party registered with the UK Electoral Commission. Ashlea was born in 1988 in Salford, Manchester.
Ashlea has recently come under the spotlight for sharing Islamophobic comments and inciting hate speech and fear towards Islam and Muslims, as one of the key figures in what the party calls the UK’s fastest-growing nationalist movement.
Ashlea frequently uses AI-generated images of Muslim families to promote an Islamophobic “remigration” agenda but that’s not the only approach she takes on her tweets. She also directly targets Muslims and other marginalized groups with hate.

When someone in a leadership role is this vocal about bigotry, it fuels real-world harm. Statements of this kind should not be brushed off or ignored. There’s a line between free speech and hate speech, and Ashlea Simon has crossed it repeatedly. It’s time to stop normalising this. It’s time to call it out.
