Gregg Roman functions as the chief operations officer for the Middle East Forum. He is responsible for oversight of day-to-day management, communications, and financial resource development for the organization. He previously served as the political advisor to the Deputy Foreign Minister of the State of Israel and worked for the Israeli Ministry of Defense. 

Roman has a tendency to make petulant tweets undermining the credentials of actual Islamic Studies academics, even going so far as to claim they’re “Islamists enablers”. This, despite the fact that he has no credentials at all to speak about the subjects of Islam nor the Muslim world:[1]
