Bio :

At the Commonwealth’s land-grant flagship university, the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Kalpen Trivedi serves as Vice Provost for Global Affairs. In addition to exercising operational and strategic control of the International Programs Office (which includes Education Abroad, International Student and Scholar Services, International Partnerships, and Travel Health and Safety), he is in charge of leading campus-wide programs for global participation.Prior to that, Trivedi was a faculty member in the English Department and the Director of the University of Georgia’s Center and programs in Oxford, United Kingdom. She also held the position of Director of Education Abroad at UMass Amherst. With a focus on managing worldwide partnerships, program design and assessment, global operations and risk management, and international health and safety, he has nearly two decades of experience in the field of international education.
