The remarks reportedly made by Gomez declaring pride in being a “non-believer of the false prophet Mohammed,” calling Islam a “fake religion,” and spreading vile, false accusations about its practices are intensely inflammatory and reprehensible. This language is not only unacceptable but dangerous. It promotes religious intolerance, reinforces harmful stereotypes, and directly endangers the safety and dignity of Muslim communities.
When someone in a position of influence spreads hate and misinformation, it legitimizes bigotry and undermines the principles of religious freedom, coexistence, and human rights. This behavior must be unequivocally condemned by all who value justice, equality, and democracy.
Another statement made by her: “I fight in the name of Jesus Christ. Christians are being slaughtered in Syria while the Vatican & some cardinals celebrate Ramadan. Islam is the biggest threat to humanity.”
Advocacy for Public Executions
Disrupting the peaceful Muslim rally wasn’t the first time Gomez ignited a public offensive approach. In a deeply disturbing campaign video released not long ago, she staged a mock execution of a hooded immigrant, openly calling for public executions of undocumented immigrants accused of violent crimes, an act many condemned as dehumanizing, xenophobic, and dangerously inflammatory.
Beyond her anti-immigrant rhetoric, Gomez has expressed opposition to legal immigration, suggesting that many immigrants are “sleeper agents” who will act against the public. She has also supported resolutions aimed at preventing legal immigrants from entering certain regions.
The video strongly implies extrajudicial violence as a solution to immigration, which incites violence and normalizes vigilante justice.
