Islamophobic Remarks :
A Hindu nationalist from Uttar Pradesh named Varun Upadhyay, also known by his stage name Varun Bahar, uses music to incite hatred in India against Muslims and Christians.
Bahar is a YouTube artist who frequently makes headlines for penning songs that incite Hindus to hate Muslims.
He wrote a song in 2019 warning Muslims they would be sent to hell if they didn’t chant Jai Shri Ram. Hindutva radicals in India are now killing Muslims after making them recite Jai Shri Ram.
Jai Shri Ram, amen. “Bhej do usko kabristan. Ab Ram Virodhi, jitne bhi hain, unko ab dafnayenge. Hindustan is a poor country, and Ram Rajya is its ruler. (Send those who do not chant “Jai Shri Ram” to Kabristan. Let’s bury Ram’s opponents. The lyrics stated, “We will receive Ram Rajya in Hindustan once more.”
In slang, the term “Kabristan” refers to a cemetery that is utilized by both Muslims and Christians. The movie shows a picture of a cemetery with crosses. Later, the cops detained him.
This “Ram bhakt” creates misogynistic and bawdy music videos when he is not promoting “Hindutva” in his songs.
A woman is tormented by a bunch of males in one song, Mummy, Mummy Chillaogi (You will shout Mummy, Mummy), as the singer sings, “Jab UP, Bihar aaogi, Mummy Mummy chillaogi.” You will scream “Mummy, Mummy” when you get in UP or Bihar.
