Islamophobic Remarks ;

Extremist Hindu Vinod Bansal is the current Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) spokesperson.

Bansal is an Islamophobe and one of the leading proponents of policies that target Muslim and Christian minorities, such as love jihad laws, population control laws, a unified civil code, and tight foreign financing rules for organizations. He has been spreading bogus allegations of a massive Muslim conspiracy to convert India into an Islamic state throughout the years.

According to a plot, a Muslim teenager lures a Hindu girl into his trap before using her naivety to force her into accepting his religion, the man claimed.

Bansal advocated for outlawing Muslims from praying in public places in December 2018, referring to it as a ruse for “land jihad.”

He told Times Now that the process of seizing land begins with namaz at a certain location, followed by the construction of a temporary structure, and then a mosque is built there afterwards.

Bansal advocated for prohibiting Muslims from attending Hindu religious celebrations in September 2019.

“It is wrong for non-believers to attend religious events. Such folks intentionally disturb religious events when they attend. Security concerns call for identification as well, according to Bansal, who spoke to ANI.

He demanded that Muslims be removed from the list of minorities in December 2019.

Is it appropriate to refer to the second-largest population in the nation as a minority community? Why shouldn’t it be left off the list of minority groups? said he.

Bansal made several media statements in April 2020 blaming Muslim minorities for the COVID19 outbreak.

“The whole country was taking a sigh of relief after the hard work and achievements of the pan-India lockdown, but due to the Tablighi Jamaat, the possibilities of community transmission of the fatal virus had increased,” he stated.

Bansal agrees with other Sangh leaders that the majority of Indian Muslims are sprung from Hindus.

Muslims’ ancestors were Hindus… They share common ancestors… We shall continue to welcome Muslims to Hinduism no matter what. There are Muslims who promote communalism. Such folks are intolerable. These Islamists are not permitted to enter the nation. Such communally oriented elements are what we are fighting against, he continued.

The Central Intelligence Agency’s (CIA) World Factbook classified VHP as a militant religious group. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), a far-right Hindu nationalist party founded in 1925 in the style of staunch nationalist organizations in Europe, seeks to establish an ethnically Hindu-majority state in India. VHP is an affiliate of RSS. The VHP is accused of planning many attacks on Muslims and Christians in hundreds of riots across the nation as part of its decades-long drive to convert India into a Hindu nation.
